Keswick

One of the earliest established communities along the Sacramento River northwest of Redding, Keswick is defined by it's roots as a small mining town. Now there is no mining, and the smaller houses that remain in the main part of the town are inexpensive and somewhat ramshackle. In the outlying areas, there are larger an more modern homes, some on multi-acre parcels, and many with good views. The photo above is a familiar view to those who live in Keswick, as they pass over the bridge where the shot was taken to get to town.
