Welcome to my world

My name is Skip. I live and work in Redding CA. I work with one of my two daughters, Erin, who is also a Realtor. I’m married to the lovely Karry, and we’ve lived in Redding for more than 30 years (I’ve stopped counting the years). Redding is home.
I blog, therefore I am. Sort of. I like to take pictures, and this is where I post them. Looking back at my posts, I think my blog offers a unique view of life in the Redding and Shasta County area, as I see it. Posting here gives you an opportunity to share what I see and think, and that offers you some insight as to what I’m like and what’s important to me. I enjoy it very much when people tell me they connect with something I wrote or photographed.
Work, family, and finance define our day to day existence. We all have both an exterior and an interior life. My interior life is filled with family, photography, gardening, and music. My work as a Realtor gives me a unique perspective on the way we live here, and I try to share those insights. Few things are quite as personal about we humans than our homes and our community.
That’s about it. Anyway welcome, dear reader. I hope that even if you don’t learn anything new here, you will at least have enjoyed reading. My intent is to make the reading interesting, and the viewing artistic. See what you think.
